The person in charge was very responsive even when they were out of the country. This was my first time working on the riipen platform so honestly my expectations for communications weren't that high, but I would get responses within a few hours and that really helped me stay on task and tailor the work as much as possible to what they wanted. Overall, I would also say that most of the group members I got paired with were very responsive so that was also really helpful since I could ask my teammates for some help whenever I got stuck.
