Details

At the Feminine Intelligence Agency (FIA), our mission is to teach people about social discernment—the ability to recognize manipulation, power games, and social dynamics that keep people stuck or controlled. But we’re running into a problem: many women aren’t excited about learning social discernment because they’ve been taught that if someone manipulates or abuses you, it must mean there’s something wrong with you—like you’re weak or “not enough.”

We want to challenge that narrative completely. We believe that learning to see through social manipulation isn’t a sign of weakness or self-doubt—it’s part of a long history of liberation movements. From civil rights to gender justice to community activism, people have always needed to see through power to protect themselves and to stand up for each other.

Especially now, with so many recent political events—from police violence to public gaslighting to political strongmen who use charm and fear to manipulate the public—people feel powerless, and it’s easy to internalize that feeling as shame or personal failure. But social discernment offers a way to channel that sense of powerlessness into clarity and collective action. Learning about the narcissistic tactics used by abusers—whether in personal relationships or on the national stage—shows that these manipulations aren’t random or personal weaknesses. They’re patterns that can be seen, named, and ultimately countered—making social discernment both deeply personal and profoundly political.

Deliverables

Create a two-minute animated educational video that reframes social discernment as a form of social martial arts: a disciplined, empowering practice for seeing through power plays and moving through the world with agency and independence. This animation should tap into the widespread feeling of powerlessness in today’s world and channel it into a story that shows social discernment as a tool of personal and collective liberation—not as victim-blaming or remedial self-help.

What Learners Will Complete:

  • A storyboard that visually maps out how social discernment is a practice of skill and independence, not of shame or weakness.
  • A script that brings this new narrative to life—social discernment as a tool for personal sovereignty and communal strength.
  • Visual assets and character designs that convey this new perspective, using a visual style that feels modern, creative, and real (whether created by hand or commissioned from real-world artists).
  • Voiceover recordings and sound design, including the chance to commission an original jingle or song from artists on Fiverr or other platforms, using a budget we’ll provide. We’ll also share music that FIA likes to give you inspiration and direction for the vibe we’re aiming for.
  • A final two-minute animation that FIA can use to inspire and educate others—challenging the outdated stereotypes about social discernment and showing it instead as a vital tool for agency, self-respect, and standing together.
