  1. Provide Real-World Work Experience: Enable Black Francophones to gain practical skills and insights through volunteer placements, enhancing their employability.
  2. Strengthen Relationships: Foster connections between Bright Lights For Africa (BLFA) and local organizations, creating a sustainable pipeline for future employment opportunities for participants.
  3. Facilitate Professional Integration: Support the professional integration of Black Francophone immigrants by bridging the gap between educational qualifications and practical work experience, helping them successfully transition into the workforce.
Deliverables


  1. Assign volunteers to suitable roles based on their skills and interests. Monitor performance, provide feedback, and address any concerns promptly while keeping the Program Director updated on progress.
  2. Coordinate volunteer placements both within the organization and with external partners, ensuring smooth execution of duties and effective integration into program activities.
  3. Maintain accurate records of volunteer activities and prepare reports on engagement and impact. Ensure compliance with management policies, create documentation for events, and gather feedback for improvements.
  4. Identify and evaluate volunteer opportunities that align with organizational goals. Match volunteers to placements based on their interests and skills while cultivating relationships with partner organizations to support volunteer initiatives and ensure effective communication.
