Details

Trickster's Hideout is seeking to streamline their ticket sales data management by developing a comprehensive dashboard. The goal of this project is to consolidate ticket sales information from two different sources into a single, user-friendly interface. This dashboard will display the total dollar amount sold and the number of tickets sold per event, organized in calendar order. Additionally, it will provide insights into the number of tickets still available for upcoming events. The dashboard must be secure, accessible only by Trickster's Hideout staff, and designed for easy, one-click access. This project offers learners the opportunity to apply their skills in data integration, user interface design, and secure web application development.

Deliverables

The deliverables for this project include a fully functional dashboard that integrates ticket sales data from two sources. The dashboard should display sales figures and ticket availability in a clear, calendar-ordered format. It must be secure, ensuring access is restricted to authorized staff members only. Additionally, the interface should be intuitive, allowing for one-click access to the dashboard. The two data sources are EventBrite and The Events Calendar - Tickets, a Word Press plugin. Both have APIs available.
