Description

Polygence is an innovative online research program that empowers high school students to dive deep into topics they’re passionate about—ranging across disciplines—with guidance from expert mentors. Operating as a tech-enabled mentorship marketplace, Polygence connects learners with professionals across the U.S., offering personalized support as they explore their chosen subjects beyond the boundaries of traditional school curricula.

In partnership with Riipen, Polygence is excited to pilot a new work-based learning (WBL) initiative that builds on its core mission: giving students agency and real-world relevance in their learning journeys. Through this collaboration, Polygence aims to explore how WBL can enhance student outcomes, provide hands-on experience, and assess the broader demand for such opportunities in the high school education landscape.

This partnership marks a first step toward integrating experiential, real-world learning into the Polygence platform—bridging academic exploration with professional skill-building.
