Bio

I am a fourth-year Bachelor of Commerce student majoring in Marketing, with a strong foundation in digital marketing, strategic planning, and creative problem-solving. My academic journey has been complemented by practical experience, including two Riipen projects and an internship in digital marketing.

In my early career, I worked as a Marketing Assistant for an IT company, where I honed my skills in LinkedIn management, technical writing (case studies, whitepapers, and executive decks), graphic design, and event planning. This role allowed me to develop a diverse skill set and gain exposure to the intricacies of B2B marketing.

Currently, I am a Tourism Development Officer, where I lead marketing initiatives while contributing to economic and business development strategies. This role has deepened my understanding of community-driven projects and enhanced my ability to create impactful marketing campaigns.

I have recently discovered a passion for product management, which I am actively pursuing through the Google UX Design Professional Certificate program (currently completing my final course). As part of this journey, I am redesigning a tourism organization's website entirely in Figma, showcasing my ability to blend design and functionality effectively.

I am eager to continue refining my skills in product management, project management, and marketing, and I view every opportunity as a stepping stone to further growth and innovation.

Podcast Production

Since podcasts are becoming an increasingly popular content medium, our company hopes to capitalize on this by creating our own. In this project, students will collaborate with us to take advantage of trending media and create a season of our own podcast. We would like students to deliver a 5-episode podcast series based on our company’s nice to resonate with our target audience. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Collaborating with the project manager to form a name and a theme for the podcast, and a topic for each episode. Script various components of each podcast episode such as the introduction, welcome, call to action, and outro. Create cover art for the podcast. Research and plan what will be discussed on an episode-by-episode basis. Record and edit each episode. Facilitating special guest appearances in one or more episodes.
